Benefit Plans Overview
An Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) allows employers to reimburse employees tax-free for individual health insurance premiums and medical expenses instead of offering a traditional group plan. It gives employers cost control and flexibility while providing employees the freedom to choose their own coverage. ICHRAs can be tailored by class (full-time, part-time, seasonal, etc.) and often reduce administrative burdens for employers.
WMC has partnered with Diversified Benefit Services to offer to administer the ICHRA services. No one knows the Wisconsin market better than the longstanding Hartland, Wisconsin based administrator. DBS has a proven record of providing exceptional service to clients of all sizes. Their unique plan design and employee communication process, knowledgeable customer-focused staff combined with their trademarked robust proprietary software allows for the most understanding and administration of your plan.
By going through the program, WMC participants will get a 5% discount on the monthly administration fee.
Eligibility & Participation
- Individual Health Insurance: You must be enrolled in a qualified individual health insurance plan, such as one purchased through the Health Insurance Marketplace (on-exchange), a private plan (off-exchange), or a Medicare plan.
- Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC): The individual health plan you choose must provide MEC, as required by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
- Employer Eligibility: You must be part of an eligible employee class as defined by your employer, such as full-time employees.
- Proof of Coverage: You will likely need to provide your employer with monthly or periodic proof that you have qualifying individual coverage in place.

Enrollment Process
Installation
